Emmy Award Winning TV Host

Ryan Chiaverini is an Emmy Award winning television personality and co-host of Windy City LIVE on ABC7 Chicago. The show debuted in May, 2011, originally replacing the "The Oprah Winfrey Show" time slot. WCL is the only live local talk show in Chicago. Ryan has interviewed some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Al Pacino, Annette Bening, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner, Will Ferrell, Channing Tatum, Mike Tyson, Kevin Costner, Robert Downey Jr. etc. Ryan has also become well known in Chicago for a fan favorite and Emmy nominated segment he created called "The 2 Minute Warning". This is a series of humorous questions that bring out the lighter side of celebrities and guests.

Ryan is a singer/songwriter and guitarist by hobby.

In 2014, he released the song "Chicago" on iTunes. The music video is on YouTube and features cameos by promenant Chicagoans including Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks, film critic Richard Roeper etc. Proceeds benefit The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Sports Anchor

Prior to hosting Windy City LIVE, Ryan was a sports anchor/reporter for WLS, KUSA, KTVQ, and KFBB.

He has covered Hall of Fame inductions, Super Bowls, NBA, MLB, and NHL playoffs including the 2010 Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup victory. Ryan also hosted a weekly Chicago Bears TV show taped before a live audience called the "Chicago Huddle." During his time in Denver, he covered the Broncos home/away games and was a fill-in host for "The Mike Shanahan Show," and "John Elway's Crush Zone."

Ryan is actively involved in the community and emcees countless events each year.

He has worked closely with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. In addition to raising funds and awareness, he has also been a keynote speaker for the "Out of the Darkness Walk." Ryan has emceed events for many other charities including Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, Gateway Green, The Greater Chicago Food Depository, The Wood Family Foundation, and Chicago Bulls Charities.
